About the Holistic Women Hub

We exist because the conversation should not have been so hard to have.

Evidence-informed guidance for women navigating perimenopause. Clear, honest, and written to be actually useful.

Our story

Why we built this

The Holistic Women Hub exists because of a conversation that should not have been so hard to have. When someone close to us began struggling with symptoms she could not explain, the experience of trying to find answers was, frankly, frustrating.

She was told she was stressed. She was told it was anxiety. She was told to come back if things got worse. What she was actually experiencing was perimenopause. And once that became clear, everything else started to make sense.

The more we listened, the more we heard the same story from women in their late thirties, forties, and beyond. Smart, capable women who knew something was wrong but were being sent home without answers. The Holistic Women Hub was built to change that, one well-researched article at a time.

Who we are

A team built around honesty

We are a team of women with backgrounds in clinical nutrition, health research, and women’s health advocacy. Our content is developed with input from a registered dietitian specialising in women’s health and nutrition, working alongside researchers and writers who share the same commitment to accuracy and honesty.

We are not a pharmaceutical company, a supplement brand, or a clinic. We do not have investors pushing us toward particular products or agendas. Every article we publish is grounded in peer-reviewed evidence, referenced transparently, and written in language that treats you as an intelligent adult who deserves a straight answer.

Our principles

What we stand for

The principles that guide every article, review, and recommendation we publish.

01

Honesty over optimism

We tell you what the evidence actually says, including where it is limited or mixed. We will not overstate the benefits of a supplement to earn a commission, and we will not understate the challenges of this transition to keep things comfortable.

02

Evidence first

Every claim we make is referenced. We prioritise systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials, we are transparent about the strength of the evidence, and we update content when the research moves on.

03

No quick fixes

We do not sell programmes, protocols, or miracle solutions. Perimenopause is a complex transition and it deserves a nuanced response, not a 30-day plan and a bundle of supplements.

04

Transparency about how we work

Some of our articles contain affiliate links. If you purchase through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences what we recommend. Our editorial standards are the same regardless of whether a product has an affiliate programme.

“Perimenopause is not a weakness. It is a natural life stage that deserves proper information, practical support, and a little more honesty than it usually gets.”
